10-step Korean skincare routine
Korean skincare is built in layers: each product handles one job without overloading your skin. You don't need all 10 steps every day — start with the basics and add more over time.
- Oil cleanser — removes makeup and sunscreen
- Foam cleanser — finishes cleansing on a water base
- Exfoliator — 1–2 times a week, gently renews skin
- Toner — hydrates and preps skin for the next steps
- Essence — a thin layer of hydrating active ingredients
- Serum or ampoule — targets a specific skin concern
- Sheet mask — 2–3 times a week for intensive care
- Eye cream — gentle care for delicate skin
- Moisturizer — locks in hydration and nutrients
- Sunscreen — a mandatory last step every morning
Short on time? Keep the basics: cleanser, toner, moisturizer and SPF in the morning. Add the rest of the steps as your skin adjusts.
